Britwell House in Oxfordshire Festival Wedding

I love a festival inspired Oxfordshire wedding. From sitting outdoors watching an amazing firework display, to the bright colours, hay bales, camper vans and wild dancing – what a fun way to get married.

The wedding ceremony itself took place in the beautiful grounds of Britwell House, with guests being ferried to the reception “festival site” in nearby Thame in a convoy of vintage buses. The marquee had been pitched on one of Clo’s grandfather’s farm fields with guests walking along a torch-lined carpet to reach the festivities. It was so much fun to photograph.

Clo and Andy worked really hard to create an authentic festival vibe. Everything from the Glitter Station to the backdrop for their wedding top table made up from covers of their favourite LP’s added to the unique and personal sense of occasion.

After the meal and some genuinely heart-warming speeches, it was time for some impressive moves on the dance floor, before heading outside to oooohhhhh and ahhhhh and the stunning surprise firework display the couple had arranged to bring their amazing day to a close.

Photography is a real pleasure when the couple bring so many personal touches to their wedding theme.
