Herons Farm Wedding

Minoeska and James chose Herons Farm near in Pangbourne in Berkshire as the venue for their wedding and reception. This was a beautiful location, combining the English elegance of its lovely courtyard and gardens with the rustic look and feel of the Barn where the main events of the day took place - as a wedding photographer. a wonderfully inspiring venue for observational style.

The couple met whilst travelling and were brought together in dramatic circumstances when the guest house they were staying in caught fire. Mercifully, their wedding day was considerably less action-packed. Minoeska drew on her love of craft to create some truly beautiful details for the day. Her bouquet was made from antique brooches she had found, whilst the bridesmaids had similar arrangements made for vintage buttons. There were also fabulous table decorations made from maps of places they had visited and pages from their favourite novel - a prize was on offer to the guest who could work out which book they all came from.

After the wedding breakfast, the tables in the barn we rearranged creating a warm and cosy setting for and evening of dancing and laughter.
